Abstract: A method of determining an operation mode of a camera with respect to each of a plurality of time periods includes: obtaining installation environment information of the camera, the information including images obtained by the camera in the plurality of time periods; determining one or more candidate operation modes with respect to each of the plurality of time periods, with reference to the installation environment information of the camera; and determining, as the operation mode of the camera with respect to each of the plurality of time periods, any one of the determined one or more candidate operation modes with respect to the each of the plurality of time periods.

Abstract: A method of allocating resources of a video recorder includes: setting a first channel from among a plurality of channels of the video recorder as a temporary registration channel; broadcasting a notification of temporary registration availability to one or more cameras from among a plurality of cameras; receiving a first temporary registration request in response to the notification of temporary registration availability from a first camera, from among the one or more cameras; allocating the first channel to the first camera in response to the first temporary registration request; and terminating the allocation of the first channel to the first camera, based on recording of video information of the first camera in the video recorder through the first channel.
