The method includes in response to a new query or new input data being input, calculating a required minimum number of cycles per unit time which corresponds to the minimum number of cycles per unit time that is required to process the new query or the new input data, selecting a query to execute first, calculating the number of cycles to be processed during the time period set in advance by multiplying the calculated, required minimum number of cycles per unit time with a time period that is allocated to process the selected query or the input data and is set in advance, and putting a system into a dormant state for a remaining period of time in response to the calculated number of cycles being completely executed within the time period set in advance.

Abstract: Disclosed is a file accessing method of a file system which manages data by a block unit of a fixed size having an index and provides information associated with a file via a plurality of entries having an index and linked information of each of blocks forming the file. The file accessing method includes providing a hint information area to each of the plurality of entries so as to record an access mode or continuous allocation information for the file, allocating the plurality of blocks to record contents of the file, and recording the access mode in each of the hint information areas of entries corresponding to a first chain group of the allocated blocks and the continuous allocation information in the hint information area of at least one entry corresponding to a second chain group of the allocated blocks.

Abstract: A speaker device for a portable terminal including a first housing and a second housing coupled to the first housing and rotating towards or away from the first housing while facing the first housing. The speaker device includes a speaker unit mounted in the second housing, first sound output holes formed in the second housing, and second sound output holes formed in the first housing. When the second housing is folded to the first housing, a sound output from the speaker unit is guided into the first housing through the first sound output holes, travels inside the first housing and is output through the second sound output holes. In the speaker device for the portable terminal, the speaker unit and the resonating space are separately positioned in the housings, thereby providing a mellow volume and a high-quality sound and contributing to slimness of the portable terminal.

Abstract: A memory apparatus and an operation of the memory apparatus which allow quick booting are provided. The memory apparatus includes a volatile memory, a non-volatile memory, and a memory control unit to control input/output of data stored in the volatile memory and the non-volatile memory. The memory control unit restores data, according to a control command input from outside of the memory apparatus, from the non-volatile memory to the volatile memory in an on-demand fashion during booting.
