  • Patent number: 10350965
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an air extractor grille. The air extractor grille includes a grille body and a grille cover. The grille body includes a plurality of openable flaps which are arranged vertically in a successive order in a vehicle body inside a rear bumper. The grille cover covers at least a portion of the grille body. The grille cover has a plurality of vent slots formed in a front surface of the grille cover and arranged vertically in a successive order as well. A block plate is bent from a lower end of each of the vent slots in such a way that the block plate protrudes outwards, thus preventing the vent slot from being directly exposed to the outside. Therefore, when the flaps open, foreign substances are prevented from directly entering the interior of the vehicle through the flaps.

  • Publication number: 20190004604
Abstract: A finger-mounted device may include finger-mounted units. The finger-mounted units may each have a body that serves as a support structure for components such as force sensors, accelerometers, and other sensors and for haptic output devices. The body may have sidewall portions coupled by a portion that rests adjacent to a user's fingernail. The body may be formed from deformable material such as metal or may be formed from adjustable structures such as sliding body portions that are coupled to each other using magnetic attraction, springs, or other structures. The body of each finger-mounted unit may have a U-shaped cross-sectional profile that leaves the finger pad of each finger exposed when the body is coupled to a fingertip of a user's finger. Control circuitry may gather finger press input, lateral finger movement input, and finger tap input using the sensors and may provide haptic output using the haptic output device.

  • Patent number: 10129503
Abstract: An image-capturing device is disclosed. The image-capturing device may include two cameras, a watch body, and a watch band coupled to the watch body. The two cameras may simultaneously capture images. A processor of the image-capturing device may combine image data of the simultaneously-captured images from the two cameras into resultant image data representing a single continuous image. The images captured by the cameras may be moving images (i.e., video). The processor may identify a tracking target within the captured images and may continuously output target image data representing a target area of the image including the tracking target. Where the tracking target is a face captured from a low angle, the processor may angle-adjust the image so that the output target image data represents the face from a different angle (e.g., a front angle).

  • Publication number: 20180081519
Abstract: A 3D document editing system and graphical user interface (GUI) that includes a virtual reality and/or augmented reality device and an input device (e.g., keyboard) that implements sensing technology for detecting gestures by a user. Using the system, portions of a document can be placed at or moved to various Z-depths in a 3D virtual space provided by the VR device to provide 3D effects in the document. The sensing technology may allow the user to make gestures while entering text via a keypad, thus allowing the user to specify 3D effects in the document while typing. The system may also monitor entries made using the keypad, apply rules to the entries to detect particular types of entries such as URLs, and automatically shift the detected types of entries forward or backward on the Z axis relative to the rest of the content in the document.

  • Patent number: 9591149
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to generating a combined image of a presentation surface. In example embodiments, an image including a portion of a presentation surface is captured using a camera. A location identifier is then received, where the location identifier specifies a location of a digital version of the content displayed on the presentation surface. Next, the digital version of the content displayed on the presentation surface is retrieved from the location specified by the location identifier. Finally, a combined image is generated by combining the captured image and the retrieved digital version of the content displayed on the presentation surface.

  • Patent number: 9430145
Abstract: A virtual keyboard is displayed on a touch screen display surface of a computing device. Partial images of the keyboard are displayed, where a partial image may be one key, referred to as the most probable key that the user will touch, or a group of keys, which may include some less probable or surrounding keys that may be touched. Sensors under or near the display surface detect an outline of the user hands and determines which finger is the fastest moving finger, which is presumed to be the finger used to touch a key. The most probable key is determined based on the fastest moving finger and may be displayed before the finger touches the surface. If the most probable key is not touched, a user profile containing user typing habits may be updated to reflect that a less probable key was touched.
