  • Patent number: 11584666
Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing hydrogen-containing water is disclosed. In one aspect, the apparatus includes a container part formed with a upper space and a lower space positioned vertically from each other around a connecting passage therein. The apparatus also includes an ion exchange membrane configured to close the connecting passage and an electrolytic part comprising a cathode disposed on the upper space and a cathode an anode disposed on the lower space. The apparatus further includes a handle part configured to couple to the container part and to provide a supply passage for water to be supplied to the lower space and a discharge passage to discharge oxygen and ozone generated from the lower space.

  • Patent number: 10393747
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for gastric cancer diagnosis through the detection of glycan changes, and to a kit for gastric cancer diagnosis. More specifically, based on the fact that in gastric cancer patient-derived haptoglobin, there are changes in N-linked glycosylation of haptoglobin, which are detected through lectin and mass spectrometery, that is, an increase in fucosylation, increases or significant changes in specific glycan structures depending on the classification of antennary structures, or a remarkable decrease in a high mannose structure of the N-glycan as compared to normal persons, N-glycan structures identified using the changes in N-linked glycosylation of haptoglobin may be usefully used as a diagnosis marker in a method for gastric cancer diagnosis using lectin or mass spectrometry, and a kit for gastric cancer diagnosis.

  • Publication number: 20180164320
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of diagnosing colorectal cancer by detection of glycan changes, and more particularly to a method of diagnosing colorectal cancer using mass spectrometry, in which, when specific glycan structures increase, decrease or significantly change due to a change in N-linked glycosylation of a colorectal cancer patient-derived glycoprotein, as detected by mass spectrometry, the glycan structures are selected as diagnostic markers.

  • Publication number: 20170129932
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a recombinant cell line producing recombinant glycoproteins having a high sialic acid content by inhibiting glycosphingolipid (GSL) biosynthesis pathway in a cell line producing recombinant glycoproteins. Particularly, the present invention produces erythropoietin (EPO), containing a high content of sialic acid in a cell, from a cell line, which induces CGT inhibition by using siRNA and miRNA specifically binding to ceramide glucosyltransferase (CGT), thereby increasing the in vivo half-life of a recombinant therapeutic protein, and thus can be useful in the treatment of disease using the same.
