    Abstract: A display device and method of manufacture may include a display panel having a first region, a second region spaced apart from the first region, and a bending region between the first region and the second region. The bending region is bent along a bending axis. A functional layer is arranged between the first region and the second region of the display panel, a core is arranged in a bending space defined by the bending region of the display panel and a side surface of the functional layer. A filler is arranged in the bending space to surround the core. A protective film may be arranged between the display panel and the functional layer. A thickness of the protective film corresponding to the bending region may be less than a thickness of a portion of the protective film corresponding to the first region or the second region.
