    Abstract: In a sanitary outlet unit (1), it is provided that a contact surface (6) is formed on a valve element (4) which is adjustable between an open position and a closed position in a flow path (2), which contact surface (6), in the open position, covers a corresponding, stationary counterpart surface (7) and, in the closed position, frees said counterpart surface (7), such that the valve element (4) is automatically held in the open position by the pressure in the flow path and returns to the closed position in the event of a pressure drop.
