  • Patent number: 10236813
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for detecting a control method of an inverter (11) for supplying current to an electric machine (1), in particular a synchronous machine, having N phases. The method comprises sensing a control signal (CU, DU, CV, DV, CW, DW), which is fed to the inverter and which is clocked with a periodic cycle, over a specified number of periodic cycles of the control signal; determining a duty cycle frequency for the sensed control signal over the specified number of periodic cycles; and detecting the control method on the basis of the determined duty cycle frequency. The invention further relates to a device (5) designed to perform the method. In addition, the invention further relates a use of the method or of the device to monitor a torque of the electric machine and in particular to estimate an operating-point-dependent power loss of the electric machine according to the detected control method.

  • Patent number: 7134410
Abstract: Disclosed is a simple, easy-to-produce, and reliable connection between a shaft of a gas exchange valve and an actuator. This connection is detachable and, as a result, can be connected and disconnected multiple times. It is also possible to dispose the coupling piece on the shaft of the gas exchange valve and provide circumferential grooves on the control element of the actuator.

  • Patent number: 6935286
Abstract: The present invention relates to a connection between a shaft end of a gas exchange valve of an internal combustion engine and a sleeve-shaped actuating element of a valve actuator, which is guided in an axially movable manner within a pressure region, which is able to be pressurized with a pressure medium, of the valve actuator and at least partially surrounds the shaft end. The present invention provides for the connection to be situated outside of the pressure region and in the region of an opening, which is formed on the side of the valve actuator away from the combustion chamber, and is, for example, coaxial to the shaft end.

  • Patent number: 6729287
Abstract: A connection between a shaft end of a gas exchange valve of an internal combustion engine and a sleevelike actuating piston of a valve actuator, has at least two shell-like key pieces, surrounding the shaft end and on whose radially outer circumferential surface there is a conically tapering portion, pointing away from a combustion chamber of the engine, and extending in complementary fashion to the cone angle of a radially inner conical portion of a conical fastening sleeve that includes the key pieces, and the conical fastening sleeve and the key pieces can be braced axially against one another. Protrusions and recesses engaging one another are provided on the radially inner circumferential surface of the key pieces and on the radially outer circumferential surface of the shaft end of the gas exchange valve. The conical fastening sleeve is formed by the actuating piston and the actuating piston and the key pieces have threaded portions that can be screwed into one another.

  • Publication number: 20040069255
Abstract: An electrohydraulic valve control (10) of an internal combustion engine includes at least one actuator (24) that acts on a gas exchange valve (38). This actuator (24) in turn has at least one working chamber (30), which in order to switch the actuator (24) from a first position into a second position, is connected to a high-pressure hydraulic accumulator (16) and shut off from a low-pressure return (56). In order to switch the actuator (24) from the second position back into the first position, the working chamber (30) is connected to the low-pressure return (56) and shut off from the high-pressure hydraulic accumulator (16). The pressure in the high-pressure hydraulic accumulator (16) is kept constant or reduced in a simple manner by virtue of the working chamber (30) being connected to the high-pressure hydraulic accumulator (16) and the low-pressure return (56) at the same time.
