    Abstract: In one embodiment, a touch input device capable of detecting a pressure and a position of a touch on a touch surface is disclosed. The touch input device includes a cover layer of glass, a display panel, and a touch sensor panel fully laminated on the display panel. The device further includes a substrate spaced apart from the display panel and separating the display panel from a circuit board and a battery for operation of the touch input device, and a pressure electrode disposed between the display panel and the substrate. Drive electrodes are formed on one side of an insulation layer, and receiving electrodes are formed on the other side of the insulation layer. Further, a distance between the substrate and the display panel is maintained by a double adhesive tape formed on edge portions of the substrate and the display panel when no pressure is applied.

The method includes: a display forming step of forming a flexible display for a plurality of display devices on one carrier substrate, cutting the flexible display into individual pieces, and separating the flexible display from the carrier substrate; a pressure sensor forming step of forming a pressure sensor for the plurality of display devices on one substrate for the pressure sensor and cutting the substrate for the pressure sensor into individual pieces; and an adhering step of adhering the separated flexible display to the substrate for the pressure sensor, which has been cut into individual pieces. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the pressure sensor can be easily implemented on the flexible display.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for operating a camera included in a touch input device including a touch screen is disclosed. A processor determines a capacitance pattern for a varying capacitance throughout the touch screen when the touch screen is underwater and no touch input occurs. The processor resets a varying reference capacitance for determining whether a touch input by an object occurs or not, the varying reference capacitance being reset based on the determined capacitance pattern when the touch screen is underwater and no touch input occurs. The touch screen receives a touch pressure by the object underwater. Operation of the camera is controlled according to the touch pressure to the touch screen.
