  • Patent number: 9836586
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for user verification based on behavioral characteristics are provided in the illustrative embodiments. A set of questions is presented from an application to a user, where the user has not previously been asked the set of questions. A set of answers received from the user corresponding to the set of questions is analyzed. A score is computed using the set of answers. A determination is made whether the score matches, within a tolerance value, a base score in a psychological profile of the user. When the score matches the base score within the tolerance value, a conclusion is made that an identity of the user has been verified.

  • Publication number: 20160292707
Abstract: In an approach to manage parking facility occupancy, a computing device retrieves a customer identification for a customer entering a parking facility and determines whether a customer profile is available for the customer. Upon determining the customer profile is available, the computing device retrieves the customer profile from a database. Additionally, the method includes the computing device determining, based, at least in part, on the customer profile, a customer spending level for the customer. Furthermore, the computing device determines whether an alert is received, the alert indicating a parking facility occupancy level is predicted to attain an alert threshold level. In response to determining the alert is received, the computing device determines a retail incentive for the customer, based, in part, on the customer spending level.

  • Patent number: 9086554
Abstract: A dust cover includes a frame shaped to circumscribe an end of a first connector configured to receive a second connector. The connectors can transmit a signal when coupled. A plurality of segments is rotatably coupled to the frame. The frame includes an opening sized to accommodate the second connector. The segments are operable between an open position and closed position. Each segment includes a flexible material and each segment is positioned around the opening and is coupled to the frame at a pivot point. The segments are shaped to cover the opening in the closed position and to expose at least a portion of the opening in the open position. An actuator is rotatably coupled to each segment. Movement of the actuator in a first direction moves the segments to the open position and movement of the actuator in a second direction moves the segments to a closed position.
