The flexible side flaps each comprise at least a side layer which is secured to the topsheet by means of a seam, the seam partitioning the side layer in a first part and a second part with the first part extending from the seam towards the longitudinal centre axis and the second part extending from the seam away from said longitudinal centre axis. The first parts form the liquid side barriers.

The coloured indications are provided on the article along the liquid side barriers to indicate the presence of the liquid side barriers to a user, the coloured indications being provided underneath at least one layer of translucent material so as to be visible through the at least one layer of translucent material while avoiding direct contact with the user's skin.

The article is releasably attached to a garment and has liquid side barriers arranged substantially along longitudinal edges of the absorbent core. The article has a front portion, oriented upwards during use, having a tapering shape with a maximum width of the front portion, measured between first left and right edge points, and a minimum width, measured between second left and right edge points. A first imaginary connection line connects the first right edge point to the second right edge point and a second imaginary connection line connects the first left edge point to the second left edge point. The first and second imaginary connection lines extend in an angle ranging between 60° and 90° with the transverse direction T and have a length of at least 15% of the full length of the article.

Abstract: A computer-based system and a method for providing product-related information to a user regarding at least one desired item are described. The item is a hygiene article. The computer based system includes a first computer server being connectable to at least one social network for providing social networking information, in the form of feedback and opinions related to the item, from members of the social network, a second computer server being connectable to at least one mobile device arranged for entering information identifying the desired item and arranged for presenting the product-related information to the user; and a memory unit arranged for storing the social networking information and arranged to be accessed by the first server and the second server. The second server includes a filtering unit arranged for filtering data retrieved by the first server in order to supply the product-related information to the mobile device.

According to the invention, the absorbent structure (3) comprises a first layer (3a) having resilient synthetic fibers of at least approximately 5 dtex; that the absorbent structure (3) comprises a second layer (3b) having superabsorbent particles generally arranged as a distinct layer as opposed to being integrated within any other material of said absorbent structure (3); and that the absorbent structure (3) also comprises a treated fluff material having hydrophilic properties.
