The methods are effected by using a polymer which exhibits antimicrobial re-sensitizing activity, for re-sensitizing the pathogenic microorganisms to the antimicrobial agent, in combination with the antimicrobial agent. Further disclosed are novel polymers having an antimicrobial re-sensitizing activity.
