The voltage mode driver converts a positive input signal to a positive output signal at a positive output terminal, and converts a negative input signal to a negative output signal at a negative output terminal. The first current source provides a first current to one of the positive output terminal and the negative output terminal. The second current source provides a second current to one of the positive output terminal and the negative output terminal. The third current source provides a third current to one of the positive output terminal and the negative output terminal.

The voltage supply voltage includes a bandgap circuit, a lowpass filter, and a start-up module. The voltage supply voltage generates a bandgap voltage. The lowpass filter filters the bandgap voltage and generates a reference voltage accordingly. The start-up module includes a first start-up circuit and a second start-up circuit. The bandgap voltage is increased to a predefined value when the bandgap module operates in a first phase. The bandgap voltage maintains at the predefined value when the bandgap module operates in a second phase. The second phase is after the first phase.

    Abstract: A low dropout regulator is provided. The low dropout regulator includes a first gain-stage, a second gain-stage, an output setting stage, and a Miller circuit. The first gain-stage generates a signal at a first gain-stage terminal based on a signal at a second gain-stage signal. The second gain-stage receives the signal at the first gain-stage terminal and generates a signal at a sensing terminal. The output setting stage outputs a load current to an output terminal. The signal at the sensing terminal is changed with the load current. The Miller circuit is electrically connected to the first gain-stage, the second gain-stage, and the output setting stage. The Miller circuit provides a capacitance related to a dominant pole of the low dropout regulator. The capacitance is changed with the signal at the sensing terminal.

    Abstract: A low dropout regulator is provided. The low dropout regulator includes a gain-stage module, an output setting stage, and a detection circuit. The gain-stage module generates a gain-stage signal. The output setting stage is electrically connected to the gain stage module. The output setting stage outputs a load current to an output terminal in response to the gain-stage signal. The detection circuit is electrically connected to the gain stage module and the output setting stage. The detection circuit includes a monitor circuit and a compensation circuit. The monitor circuit is electrically connected to the output terminal. The monitor circuit compares a charge-up duration of the signal at the output terminal with a pre-defined threshold duration, and generates a comparison signal accordingly. The compensation circuit is electrically connected to the gain-stage module and the output terminal. The compensation circuit selectively performs frequency compensation in response to the comparison signal.
