  • Patent number: 8244588
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that enters purchase information into a software application. The system starts by accessing a file containing a receipt for a purchase. The system then extracts information relating to the purchase. Next, the system creates an entry for the purchase in a database for the software application. While creating the entry in the database, the system fills in a set of fields in the entry using the extracted information.

  • Publication number: 20120172008
Abstract: A voicemail message system may process voicemail messages sent by mobile communication devices. A network interface may receive the voicemail messages over a network communication system. Each voicemail message may include metadata relating to the voicemail message containing location information indicative of the location of the mobile communication device at approximately the time the message is sent by the mobile communication device. A voicemail message processing system may cause each message which is received by the network interface to be stored in a message storage system, along with its location information. Related mobile communication devices, telephone switches, and recipient phone call devices are also described.

  • Publication number: 20120084766
Abstract: A method for updating an application program on a wireless terminal in a controlled manner is disclosed. When, a server receives an inquiry from a wireless terminal for updating an application program, the server determines whether there is an updated program available for updating the application program based on information included in the inquiry from the wireless terminal. The server also determines whether updating the application program of the wireless terminal which sent the inquiry is permitted or not at the time of receiving the inquiry based on the information included in the inquiry and criteria information stored in the server. When the server determines that updating the application for the wireless terminal is available and is permitted, the server sends information necessary for updating the application program to the wireless terminal. Then, the wireless terminal updates the application program.

  • Publication number: 20110168705
Abstract: A fuel filler system for an automotive vehicle includes a filler pipe connected with a fuel tank and an interceptor mounted about an open end of the filler pipe, with the interceptor and filler pipe defining a generally annular contaminant collector having a drain extending from the collector. A filler cap closes both the open end of the filler pipe and the open end of the interceptor, so as to prevent ambient contamination from entering either the contaminant collector or the filler pipe. Removal of the filler cap from the filler pipe first causes venting of the fuel tank into the collector before a sealing condition between the filler cap and the interceptor is released.

  • Patent number: 7856475
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for facilitating communication between users. The method involves capturing a dialogue between the users; analyzing the dialogue to determine a usage pattern; selecting a communication tool, based on the usage pattern, that is suitable for a communication subsequent to the dialogue; informing the plurality of users of the communication tool suitable for the communication subsequent to the dialogue; and generating a summary of the communication subsequent to the dialogue.

  • Patent number: 7849397
Abstract: A system and method for providing electronic data entry forms with trainable data field sequencing includes a computing system implemented process for providing electronic data entry forms with trainable data field sequencing whereby as data fields are accessed in a specific sequence by a user to enter data associated with a first item, the specific sequence in which the data entry fields are accessed is learned/stored. Then the data fields are accessed in the same specific sequence for data entry associated with all subsequent items until the trainable data field sequencing feature is deactivated.

  • Publication number: 20100070361
Abstract: An online credit system is disclosed. The online credit system allows purchasers (requesters) to request and receive credit (e.g., store credit) for prior purchases of qualifying products. The credit can made available to purchasers as an electronic credit voucher. Through online interaction with the online credit system, a purchaser is able to be informed in near real-time whether a particular prior purchase qualifies for an offered credit. The online credit system can also enforce credit eligibility rules so that only certain prior purchases of certain products are able to receive a credit. The online credit system can also incorporate techniques to mitigate or prevent fraudulent attempts to access such credit. In one embodiment, the products qualifying for credit are wireless electronic devices, such as mobile telephones.
