  • Patent number: 11488140
Abstract: A mobile ticketing method and system for providing mobile ticketing services to users is provided. A user selects a mobile ticket and initiates payment by using a user device. In response to successful processing of the payment, the user device receives encrypted QR data from a server. The user device decrypts and format the encrypted QR data to display a QR code. The QR code is scanned at a gate terminal associated with an entry or exit gate. The gate terminal validates the QR code and broadcasts data pertaining to the QR code via a BLE network. The user device verifies the gate terminal on receiving the broadcasted data via the BLE network, and transmits a connection request to the gate terminal. The gate terminal further validates the connection request and decides whether to allow or disallow the user to pass through the entry or exit gate.

  • Patent number: 11029661
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide systems, methods, and computer-readable media to remotely actuate a user interface of a computing device. In a particular embodiment, a method includes receiving actuation information for a targeted portion of the user interface and determining control signals for a piezoelectric grid. The control signals direct application of electricity to the piezoelectric grid to deform the piezoelectric grid for actuation of the targeted portion of the user interface. The method further includes transferring the control signals to the piezoelectric grid.

  • Patent number: 10254734
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide systems, methods, and computer-readable media to facilitate testing user-selectable functions on a user interface of a computing device, wherein a piezoelectric grid comprising piezoelectric material that deforms upon application of electricity is installed onto a surface of the user interface of the computing device. In a particular embodiment, a method provides generating a control mapping of areas of the piezoelectric grid to locations on the user interface of the computing device. The method further provides receiving test instructions comprising actuation information for a targeted portion of the user interface of the computing device. The method further provides processing the test instructions and the control mapping to determine control signals for the piezoelectric grid to implement the test instructions, and transmitting the control signals to the piezoelectric grid to actuate the targeted portion of the user interface of the computing device.

  • Patent number: 8321104
Abstract: A control system provides an aggregate driven quantity demand signal for controlling an actuatable component. The system has a summing junction which generates the aggregate driven quantity demand signal by summing a first output signal, which converges on a steady state driven quantity requirement value, and a change in driven quantity demand signal. The system further has a feedback loop which generates the first output signal in response to the aggregate driven quantity demand signal. The system also has a first variable gain which tunes the change in driven quantity demand signal in response to a reference demand signal. The feedback loop includes a second variable gain which tunes the rate at which the first output signal converges on the steady state driven quantity requirement value. Typically, the reference demand signal corresponds to a desired value or desired change in value of a parameter which is itself varied or controlled by actuation of the actuatable component.

  • Patent number: 6189017
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method to of ensuring the reliability of a system distributed data base, comprising several computers which together form nodes (1, 2, 3, 4) wherein information belonging to the distributed data base is storable. A fragment comprises a part of the data base and includes a primary replica (11) of the part and a secondary replica (21) of the part. The primary replica (11) is stored within a first node (1) and the secondary replica (21) is stored within a second node (2), separated from the first node (1). Both data information and log information are stored within both the primary replica (11) and the secondary replica (21). The secondary replica (21) is updated when the primary replica (11) changes (A) and is used to re-create a primary replica should the first node (1) crash. Respective fragment also comprise a stand-by replica (31) of the part, which is stored in a third node (3) that is separate from the first (1) and the second (2) node.
