Abstract: A configurable item finder user interface (UI) is provided that helps users locate desired items within data stores of item data and item attribute data. The configurable item finder UI presents a set of selectors through which users can quickly indicate the desired attribute values. In contrast to a request-response model in which users are required to select desired values for individual attributes serially and iteratively and wait for matching results to be displayed on a page, the configurable item finder UI dynamically adjusts its result display based on user interaction with the one or more selectors. Instances of the configurable item finder UI can be configured by a content management service to be used at various times and in various locations within a deployed or third party environment.
