    Abstract: A coupling apparatus that is configured to provide a movable connection between at least two support members wherein the coupling apparatus can be deployed as part of devices in a plurality of applications. The present invention includes a housing wherein the housing is oval in shape having a first end and a second end. The opposing sides of the housing are formed with openings wherein the openings are substantially the size of the opposing sides. A top wall and bottom wall are present in the housing having apertures formed in the center thereof. Disposed within the interior volume of the housing is a spherical member. The spherical member is movable between a plurality of fixed positions through manipulation of the housing, specifically applying an inward force to the ends of the housing. Support elements are present on the housing and spherical member that are operable to couple to a device.

    Abstract: An intubation apparatus configured to operably couple with an endotracheal tube so as to provide assistance in the insertion process of the endotracheal tube. The intubation apparatus of the present invention includes an elongated cylindrical body having an angular insertion tip on one end thereof. The body has an exterior surface wherein the first embodiment of the tube anchors is secured thereto. A second embodiment of a tube anchor is present within the scope of the invention and includes an air bladder integrally formed with the body wall. The two embodiments of the tube anchors function to apply a bias force against an inner wall of the endotracheal tube so as to maintain a position therewith. For the second embodiment of the tube anchor a syringe adapter is present that is configured to operably couple a syringe to the body and further provide a sealable connection with the endotracheal tube.

The present invention includes a first portion and a second portion that are operably integrated to provide coupling of structural members. The first portion includes a first section and a second section wherein the first section is insertable into the second section and is configured to be releasably secured therein. The first section includes grooves that are configured to operable coupled with a locking member located in the second section. Within the scope of the present invention alternate embodiments of the grooves and first section are contemplated. The second portion includes two embodiments wherein the two embodiments are configured to provide alternate orientations of coupling of bamboo poles. The second portion is configured to provide both an end-to-end connection as well as an angular orientation of bamboo poles.

    Abstract: A fastener for a belt or strap that is configured to be operable with a single hand wherein the fastener includes a body having a first portion and a second portion. The body of the fastener is movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position the first portion and second portion are compressed against each other. In the second position the second portion is moved away from the first portion to create a void therebetween of suitable width to journal a portion of a strap or belt therethrough. A first arm member is secured between the first portion and second portion and is arcuate in shape. A second arm member, arcuate in shape, is secured between the first portion and second portion of the body. A gripping member is present on the first portion of the body.
