  • Patent number: 9000150
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of pure meropenem trihydrate.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 21, 2011
Date of Patent: April 7, 2015
    Assignee: Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited
Inventors: Prashant Kumar Sharma, Bhupendra Vashishta, Shailendra K. Singh, Neera Tiwari, Subhash Dhar
  • Patent number: 8848504
Abstract: Alien noise is removed from one or more receptor DSL lines after self-FEXT has been eliminated or reduced. Information about the alien noise in the form of slicer errors can be obtained from one or more donor DSL lines that may or may not be in the same domain (e.g., a vectored DSL system).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 14, 2011
Date of Patent: September 30, 2014
    Assignee: Ikanos Communications, Inc.
Inventors: Shailendra K. Singh, Kevin D. Fisher
  • Patent number: 8817857
Abstract: Residual FEXT resulting from intended and/or inherent partial cancellation of crosstalk in vectored DSL systems impairs upstream power back-off (UPBO) as traditionally implemented. By considering and taking into account the effects of residual crosstalk on vectored DSL system performance and operation, improved data rates and/or other vectored DSL system performance are realized through the use of UPBO parameters generated for a given residual FEXT environment.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 25, 2011
Date of Patent: August 26, 2014
    Assignee: Ikanos Communications, Inc.
Inventors: Shailendra K. Singh, Sigurd Schelstraete, Nicholas P. Sands
  • Patent number: 8767521
Abstract: A system for performing a single ended line test (SELT) of a selected subscriber line within a bundle of in-service subscriber lines each supporting frequency division multiplexed multi-tone modulated XDSL communications. The system comprises: a crosstalk cancellation module and a SELT module. The crosstalk cancellation module is coupled to the subscriber lines and configured to cancel crosstalk between the selected subscriber line under test and the in-service subscriber lines. The SELT module couples to the crosstalk cancellation module and is configured to coordinate SELT testing with the crosstalk cancellation module to cancel crosstalk between the selected subscriber line and the in-service subscriber lines during testing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 8, 2010
Date of Patent: July 1, 2014
    Assignee: Ikanos Communications Inc.
Inventors: Shailendra K. Singh, Amitkumar Mahadevan, Laurent F. Alloin

  • Patent number: 5536830
Abstract: A process for converting cephalosporin p-nitrobenzyl ester (Formula I) to the corresponding cephalosporin free acid (Formula II) comprising treating the cephalosporin p-nitrobenzyl ester with a metal selected from the group consisting of iron, magnesium, aluminum, and tin, and with hydrochloric acid in a mixture of water and a water-miscible organic solvent. Preferably, the metal is iron in the form of a fine powder, and the reaction is carried out at a temperature in the range of 30.degree.-50.degree. C.
