Abstract: A hay net for feeding livestock including a bag member, a closure assembly and an annular member. The bag member has a peripheral wall with first and second ends and an interior space for holding a quantity of hay. An opening to the interior space is defined in the first end and the second end is permanently closed. The closure assembly selectively controls access to the opening. The annular member is engaged with a circumferential region of the bag member that is located a distance inwardly from the first end. The annular member maintains the circumferential region and thereby the associated region of the interior space defined thereby in an open position at all times. When the opening is in the open position, hay may readily and rapidly be placed into the interior space through the held-open circumferential region while the user holds onto the annular member.
