  • Publication number: 20230136727
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE), e.g., such as a pedestrian UE (PUE), may detect, during a first transmission period of a discontinuous transmission cycle, a transmission over a sidelink channel from a second UE that is located within a threshold distance from the first UE, the first UE associated with a first identifier. The first UE may determine, based at least in part on the transmission, a second identifier associated with the second UE, the second identifier being different from the first identifier. The first UE may use, based at least in part on the second UE being within the threshold distance, the first identifier and the second identifier during one or more subsequent transmission periods of the discontinuous transmission cycle.

  • Publication number: 20220377740
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine to use multi-cluster communications in a vehicle based communication network. The UE may identify a configuration parameter associated with the multi-cluster communications. The UE may select a cluster resource from a set of available cluster resources based on the configuration parameter. The cluster resource may include one or more clusters used for multi-cluster transmissions in the vehicle based communication network. The UE may transmit an indication of the selected cluster resource to a wireless node of the vehicle based communication network, for example, to another UE. The UE may transmit the multi-cluster transmission on the selected cluster resource.

  • Publication number: 20220071414
Abstract: Disclosed are freestanding displays of packaged consumer products, particularly consumer paper products. The packaged consumer goods generally comprise one or more goods disposed in a carton, such as a folded paperboard box that is at least partially overwrapped with a film having a plurality of graphic elements disposed thereon. The graphic elements are preferably disposed on the film such that at least two panels of the resulting packages are visually similar, and two panels are visually distinct. The packages may be stacked in arrays to form a display having two more faces that are visually similar. The present freestanding display helps consumers recognize the packaged products from a distance even when displayed amongst other packaged goods in a crowded supermarket or club store.

  • Patent number: 10044709
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer readable media for multi-device single network sign-on are described. For example, a method can include authenticating a first device for network access via a first authentication process, the first device being associated with a user account. The method can also include receiving an access request from a second device associated with the user account, and determining whether the second device is within an access perimeter of the first device. The method can further include permitting the second device to access the network without a second authentication process when the second device is within the access perimeter of the first device.

  • Patent number: 10021133
Abstract: A system and method for detecting a phishing site is disclosed. A message from a client to the site is intercepted by a security gateway. The security gateway determines if the site is a known-site or an unknown-site. If it is a known site, a reputation of the site is checked. If the site is a known-site with a bad reputation, connection between the client and the site is reset. If the site is a known-site with a good reputation, known-site testing is performed for possible phishing attack. If the site is an unknown-site, unknown-site testing for possible phishing attack is performed.
