Publication number: 20230225389Abstract: The present invention relates to a prolonged release formulation of caffeine, which comprises of caffeine embedded in a continuous phase of non-polymeric release controlling carrier. The formulation may be optionally comprised of one or more excipients which are acceptable in nutraceutical and food industry. The invention also relates to a process for preparation; wherein caffeine is uniformly distributed throughout the continuous phase of non-polymeric release controlling carrier to get single-phase granules. The formulation releases caffeine through continuous phase of non-polymeric release controlling carrier, wherein about 20 to 60% of caffeine is released in first hour, followed by about 50-90% of release in 4-8 hours and about 70 to 100% of caffeine release in 8-12 hours. Caffeine formulation can advantageously be administered to a subject for achieving stimulant effect through prolonged release of caffeine over entire day.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 11, 2020Publication date: July 20, 2023Inventors: Vishal SHAH, Rajat SHAH, Shajahan ABDUL

Publication number: 20220265575Abstract: The invention describes a non-staining composition comprising high content of curcuminoids in granular form, which is substantially free of excipients and is comprised of at least about 94% of curcuminoids. The non-staining composition may be comprised of 0 to 5% by weight of excipients, which are used as processing aids. The non-staining curcuminoid composition does not cause staining and dusting of the equipment and the contact surfaces, while formulating into finished dosage forms. The invention also relates to solvent-free process for preparation of non-staining granular composition; wherein the curcuminoids may be subjected to granulation process at specific temperature conditions. The granular composition is free flowing and retains original yellowish orange colour of the curcuminoids along with its crystalline nature.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 19, 2020Publication date: August 25, 2022Inventors: Vishal SHAH, Rajat SHAH, Manoj TIWARI, Shajahan ABDUL

Patent number: 10710904Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and a process for purification of grey water. In particular the invention relates to in-home purification of grey water generated from laundry wash and/or rinse liquor for water saving by re-use. Surprisingly it has been found that it is possible to design a device and a process where, by continuous aeration, foam breaking and separation, the laundry wash and rinse water can be made substantially free of surfactants. This water is then preferably filtered to recover fresh water which can be reused for multiple applications.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2014Date of Patent: July 14, 2020Assignee: CONOPCO, INC.Inventors: Jaideep Chatterjee, Shajahan Abdul Kareem, Santosh Kumar Gupta, Shailendra Pratap, Rajeesh Kumar Ramachandran
