    Abstract: A turbine engine is provided. The turbine engine defines an axial direction and a radial direction, and includes: a rotor; a stator comprising a carrier; a seal assembly disposed between the rotor and the stator, the seal assembly defining a high-pressure side and a low-pressure side and comprising a plurality of seal segments, the plurality of seal segments including a seal segment having a seal face forming a fluid bearing with the rotor, a lip, and a body, the lip extending from the body along the axial direction of the turbine engine on the high-pressure side and including an outer pressurization surface along the radial direction of the turbine engine; and a seal support assembly, the seal support assembly comprising a spring arrangement extending between the carrier and the first seal segment to counter a pressure on the outer pressurization surface during operation of the turbine engine.

    Abstract: A virtual card server comprising a machine intelligence engine such as a Large Language Model (LLM) neural network system. This virtual card server is configured to communicate with a plurality of user computerized devices, receive news feeds, communicate with third-party servers, and implement a virtual card-oriented social network over at least one domain of interest. The machine intelligence engine is trained over the domain(s) of interest and can work with the server to notify social network users about relevant news feed items, as well as to automatically select and promote relevant social network postings about the field of interest. Additionally, users can use the social network to send commands to third-party servers, such as financial and investment transaction servers.

    Abstract: A data store item count process determines the number of items in a data store (e.g., the number of items in a database table). In response to receipt of triggering events (e.g., additions or deletions of items in a table), a function registered to process the events is launched. The function processes the events to identify a net change to a count of items, and updates a value in a data store based on the net change. Multiple functions may process events for respective sets of partitions of a table, or for respective sets of tables, and update a distinct count value for each partition or table. In some instances, the process is performed within the context of a serverless compute environment; the function may retire, without saving an execution state for the function. A reporting function may access the value and send the value to a metrics reporting service.
