    Abstract: A hinge assembly has a pintle, a torque assembly and a resistance assembly. The pintle has a head formed on the pintle. The torque assembly is mounted on the pintle at a first side of the head to provide a force to automatically open the cover relative to the body to a first angle. The resistance assembly is mounted on the pintle at a second side of the head to provide a frictional force to hold the cover at a second angle relative to the body when the cover is closed relative to the body. Accordingly, the cover can be pivoted open relative to the body automatically with the torque provided by the torque assembly.

    Abstract: A casing with magnetic latch that is easy to produce and a cover can be quickly opened. The casing has a first magnetic unit and a third magnetic unit respectively mounted in the cover and base. A second magnetic unit is slidably mounted between the first and third magnetic units. When the cover is closed, attraction between the first and third magnetic units holds the cover firmly against the base. When the second magnetic unit is slid between the first and third magnetic units, repulsion between the first and second magnetic units pushes the cover away from the base.

A rotatable cam mating with the sliding cam has a base portion extending downward to form pushing portions disposed in the concave portions. The base portion defines an accommodating hole. A spring is slideably received in the housing. One end of the spring is fixed on the sliding cam and the other end of the spring is fixed at an end of the housing. A shaft received in the housing runs through the axial hole and the spring. An end of the shaft is received in the accommodating hole, and the other end of the shaft passes through the end of the housing. A first stop has a bottom surface whose part extends downward to form a blocking portion, and the rest part of the bottom surface is defined as a revolving platform. A second stop engaging with the rotatable cam has a top surface protruding upward to form a pushing block rotatablely disposed on the revolving platform.

    Abstract: A hinge has a pintle, a moving leaf, a resilient device and a stationary leaf. The pintle has a resilient device mount formed on a distal end and is mounted securely in the stationary leaf. The moving leaf is mounted rotatably around the pintle and has a barrel having a protruding limit formed on an outer end. Because the resilient device mount is formed on the pintle, it does not break easily and may slip to prevent terminal failure and be reset when closed. The protruding limit abuts the stationary leaf and ensures a gap is formed between the leaves for wires cabling or the like. Therefore the hinge has improved wear and longer lifespan.

    Abstract: A hinge apparatus includes a hinge and a damper. The damper includes a damping shell, a damping body, an outer gasket and a pushing body, damping oil is filled in the damper. The damping shell has a cylinder-shaped shell body, a cover is formed in the top of the shell body, a sleeve is formed in the shell body, and an annual groove is defined between the shell body and the sleeve. The damping body has a bottom base, an annular sidewall, and a recess defined between the bottom base and the annular sidewall. The annular sidewall is received in the annual groove. The sleeve is received in the recess. Inner grooves are opened in the inside of the annular sidewall, outer grooves are opened in the outside of the annular sidewall. The outer gasket around the annular sidewall and below the outer grooves, the outer gasket is against the inside of the shell body. The pushing body is capable of pushing the damping body to rotate under the elastic force of the hinge.

The column portion extends outside the damping shell through the axial hole. A plurality of rotatable pieces and a plurality of limiting pieces are received in the shell body of the damping shell and alternately disposed on the column portion of the damping body. The rotatable pieces engage with the column portion so as to rotate together with the damping body, the limiting pieces are fixed to the damping shell. Damping oil is filled between the adjacent limiting pieces and the rotatable pieces. A hermetic ring is disposed on the damping body and pressed against the shell body. A rotatable body is adapted for pushing the damping body to rotate.

    Abstract: A magnetic memory with improved writing margin is provided, which includes a magnetic tunnel junction device and an adjustment layer. The magnetic tunnel junction device includes an anti-ferromagnetic layer, a pinned layer, a tunnel barrier layer, and a free layer formed sequentially. The adjustment layer is formed on one side of the magnetic tunnel junction device and contacts the free layer. The thickness of the adjustment layer is smaller than 20 nm and it employs Ru or Ru-base materials. The magnetic memory with improved writing margin may improve the switching uniformity and reduce the switching field of the free layer. Therefore, the current necessary for the write word line is reduced.
