  • Publication number: 20230146942
Abstract: A machine control system for an agricultural operation includes sensors mounted on the machine and providing output signals corresponding to machine operations. A roll-up reporting function produces reports of machine operation, and status. The system can be programmed for providing such reports a predetermined intervals, e.g., at the start of each work day. A portion control method embodying the present invention includes the steps of: providing sensors on an agricultural machine; outputting from the sensors signals corresponding to machine operations; roll-up reporting of the machine operations; and comparing the operational report to a work order for the machine.

  • Patent number: 10448102
Abstract: Systems and methods for allowing a user to access a different version of a blocked media asset. These systems and methods allow a first user to request access to the blocked media asset from a second user who has authority to approve access to the blocked media asset. These systems and methods determine different versions of the media asset available from different sources. These systems and methods notify the second user that the first user has requested access to the blocked media asset and include, in the notification, an option to unblock any one of the different versions of the media asset available from the different sources. This allows the second user to determine if there is a version of the media asset that the second user deems suitable for unblocking.

  • Patent number: 9774824
Abstract: Approaches are disclosed for reducing a number of connections established by a server for a virtual meeting session. In some embodiments, the server receives a request to initiate a virtual meeting session involving a plurality of endpoints. The server may determine a location identifier for each of the plurality of endpoints based on location data generated by each of the plurality of endpoints. When the server determines that two or more of the plurality of endpoints are co-located at a location based on the location identifier, it can automatically establish only one connection on behalf of the two or more of the plurality of endpoints. The connection may be established to, e.g., a nearby conferencing device or one of the endpoints that are in the same location. The device or endpoint to which the connection is established may be determined based on which device or endpoint historically initiates virtual meetings.

  • Publication number: 20170126831
Abstract: Methods and systems for caching a media asset implemented on a user equipment device. The user equipment device is connected to a home network including the user equipment device and a mobile device. The media asset may be transformed into a first portion that is likely to be accessed and a second portion that is not likely to be accessed. The first portion may be stored at a user equipment device. The second portion may be stored at the mobile device. The home network may implement a custom Wi-Fi protocol that allows a first device on the home network to query a second device for an amount of storage space available on the second device. The user equipment device and the mobile device may each include a software driver compatible with the custom Wi-Fi protocol.

  • Patent number: 8618502
Abstract: This invention provides a method of mounting cylindrical electrodes in the geometry of a miniature electrostatic quadrupole, which can act as a quadrupole mass filter or a quadrupole ion guide, or be used in a linear quadrupole ion trap. The electrodes are mounted in pairs on microfabricated supports, which are formed from conducting parts on an insulating substrate. The supports include a suspended flexure system to relieve strains caused by mismatch between the thermal expansion coefficients of the electrodes and the substrate. A complete quadrupole is constructed from two such supports, which are spaced apart by further conducting spacers.
