  • Patent number: 10315850
Abstract: A proppant conveyor system has: a tower; a bucket elevator; a telescopic conveyor boom mounted to the tower above a ground surface; the telescopic conveyor boom being connected to convey proppant from an outlet of the bucket elevator to a discharge point defined by the telescopic conveyor boom; and the telescopic conveyor boom being mounted to swing in lateral directions relative to an axis of the tower to reposition the discharge point. A method includes: conveying proppant up a bucket elevator, along a telescopic conveyor boom mounted on a tower above a ground surface, and into an inlet of a first storage bin at a well site; repositioning the telescoping conveyor boom over an inlet of a second storage bin at the well site by swinging the telescopic conveyor boom in a lateral direction relative to an axis of the tower; and conveying proppant up the bucket elevator, along the telescopic conveyor boom, and into an inlet of the second storage bin.

  • Publication number: 20140330854
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for enabling users to comprehensively determine their exposures to media and to receive services based thereon. For example, an application can be executed on a computing device associated with a user. The application can continuously monitor audio data that the computing device is exposed to and can generate digital signatures thereof. The digital signatures can be transmitted to a server that comprises a database of reference digital signatures and circuitry configured to compare and match the received digital signatures and the reference digital signatures. When a match is found, the server retrieves information associated with the matched reference digital signature and returns, to the device, the retrieved information. The server can also concatenate matches associated with data received from a plurality of computing devices and provide the concatenated data to a third party, who in turn, returns services to the users based on the received data.

  • Patent number: 6941791
Abstract: The dash bridge and hook rescue device is a two piece emergency rescue tool utilized in the extraction of accident victims from underneath a dashboard and steering column as the result of an automobile accident where severe injuries are incurred by the victim. The rescue device is used to expedite the lifting and removal of the steering column and dashboard using existing winches, power spreaders or extension ram devices, either manual, air or hydraulic powered, to engage the hook attached below the steering column and lift it from the dash bridge spanning from the hood of the car to the roof of the car, bridging the windshield through which the hook extends, and lifting the steering wheel in a vertical direction off the lap and chest of the victim. Unrestricted access to the victim from the passenger compartment of the vehicle and transfer to emergency transport vehicles for critical care is expedited over other existing emergency extraction device techniques.

  • Patent number: 6899001
Abstract: A multiple component wrench is adapted for use to attach and disconnect fire hose and hydrant coupling using this singular tool in lieu of several tools currently used by firefighters. The wrench has a sliding portion and a receiver portion presented as one tool, yet allowing multiple wrenches adapted for use on Storz and spanner hose couplings, rocker lug couplings, water meter shutoff valves, gas cock valves, pentagonal nuts and square nuts, and includes a multiple ratchet mechanism with multiple removable ratchets adapted to a variety of different nuts encountered on the multiple hydrants installed in various municipalities. The wrench is also extendable to provide additional leverage during use, the wrench further capable of separation forming two independent wrenches.
