  • Publication number: 20190249968
Abstract: An arrow vane protector having a central bore adapted to receive a shaft and nock of an arrow. Extending radially outwardly from the bore are a plurality of slits that are adapted to align with and receive a plurality of vanes attached to the shaft of the arrow. The protector frictionally holds the arrow in place.

  • Patent number: 8844645
Abstract: An aerator hole spacing control with a hydrostatic traction drive including a pump and a plurality of wheel motors, a control arm mounted on a control shaft of the pump that controls the direction and the speed of the pump, and a cam follower on the control arm that contacts a cam surface having a minimum coring speed position, a maximum coring speed position, and a transport position. The cam surface may be linked to an operator speed control that moves the cam surface to determine where the cam follower contacts the cam surface to change the speed of the pump anywhere between the minimum coring speed position and the maximum coring speed position without stopping the pump.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 26, 2011
Date of Patent: September 30, 2014
    Assignee: Deere & Company

  • Patent number: 8255126
Abstract: An aerator having a flexible frame for use on sloped or undulating ground surfaces of golf courses and other turf. The aerator includes a pair of frame sections linked together at a horizontal pivot axis, one of the frame section supporting a coring head. A ground sensor is pivotably attached to one of the frame sections so that the ground sensor may pivot in response to changes in ground slope and provide output relating to the magnitude of the change. Based on the output, a flex frame actuator pivots the pair of frame sections with respect to each other.
