Abstract: An atmospheric safety monitoring device including a remote sensor unit adapted to sense two or more selected atmospheric contaminants and to communicate data from such sensing to a display unit, said display unit being adapted to display the results of said sensing and to determine if said results indicate that a level of an atmospheric contaminant is outside of an acceptable range and in that case to initiate selected alert behaviour.
