Abstract: An eye safety frame for protecting the eyes of a wearer includes a pair of ocular frame portions each defining an uncovered ocular space surrounding a corresponding one of the eyes. Each ocular frame portion includes a horizontal top member and a horizontal bottom member. The top and bottom members are joined by a distal side member and a proximal side member and form a generally four-sided closed shape defining the ocular space. The bottom member includes a central portion that curves upwardly toward the top member and outwardly away from the eye. The length of the central portion is more than 50% of the length of the bottom member and the ocular space prevents the ball passing therethrough. A nose bridge portion joins a proximal portion of each ocular frame portion. A pair of elongate arms extend from distal portions of the ocular frame portions toward the wearer's ears.
