  • Publication number: 20230130119
Abstract: A filter assembly has a housing defining an inlet and an outlet. A plurality of chemical filter elements are disposed in the housing and are arranged in a series with respect to fluid flow. A spacing region is between adjacent filter elements in the series. Also disclosed is an assembly having a housing and a first and second chemical filter element. The second chemical filter element is downstream of the first chemical filter element. Each chemical filter element has a sheet of chemical filter material having a first edge and a second edge. A first flow path is defined parallel to a surface of the first sheet extending from its first edge to its second edge. A second flow path is defined parallel to a surface of the second sheet extending from its first edge to its second edge.

  • Publication number: 20220241863
Abstract: A method of additively manufacturing a structure for use in a reactionary process includes forming a material from metal or metal oxide particles, a dispersion solvent, and a binder. The method also includes depositing the material onto a build platform and curing the material to form a structure for use in a reactionary process. The structure includes the metal or metal oxide particles and is configured to provide a reaction when exposed to a reactant.

  • Publication number: 20200398456
Abstract: A method of additively manufacturing a multi-material structure for a reactionary process includes forming a first material from a first binder and a first active agent and depositing a first layer including the first material onto a build platform. The method also includes forming a second material from a second binder and a second active agent and depositing a second layer including the second material onto the build platform. The second material is in contact with the first material. The method further includes adhering the second material to the first material to form the multi-material structure for use in the reactionary process. The first material provides a first reaction during the reactionary process and the second material provides a second reaction during the reactionary process.
