  • Publication number: 20230235651
Abstract: Methods for providing wellbores for electromagnetic heating of a hydrocarbon formation positioned below a ground surface and apparatus thereof are provided. The apparatus includes two or more wellbore casings positioned within two or more wellbores. The two or more wellbores extend from a proximal end at the ground surface to a distal end at the underground hydrocarbon formation. Each of the two or more wellbore casings have a proximal portion and a distal portion. The two or more wellbores are in proximity to one another at a junction. The apparatus also includes a first electrical connection between the proximal portions of the two or more wellbore casings for grounding the two or more wellbore casings and a second electrical connection between the distal portions of the two or more wellbore casings. The second electrical connection is located at the junction and provides a short circuit that reduces current traveling on the two or more wellbore casings to the ground surface.

  • Publication number: 20230094037
Abstract: The device disclosed herein is suitable for simultaneously cleaning opposing surfaces of the Juliette-style balcony windows. The device is constructed to have dimension that, when in a compact form, it can be inserted into the gap formed between a balcony or patio door and a balcony facade and hand rail. A pair of cleaning heads, situated on opposite sides of an expandable or inflatable member, can be positioned to contact the opposing glass surfaces by actuation of the expandable or inflatable member from the compact to the expanded position. Subsequent manual movement of the opposing pair of cleaning heads, in combination with the application of water and optional cleaning products, resulting in the cleaning of the opposing surfaces of the Juliette balcony window.

  • Patent number: 11221193
Abstract: A firearm accessory is operable in two modes. A first mode in which the firearm accessory is coupled, at least indirectly, to a firearm to define a foregrip. In the first mode, a blade on the accessory is in a sheathed position. A second mode in which the firearm is disconnected from the firearm to define a knife. In the second mode, the blade is in an extended position. In each mode and position, the tip of the blade is vertically above the upper end of the grip body. The firearm accessory has prongs that connect the grip body to an attachment mechanism or coupler. Within the coupler are flexible liner locks that have sloped protrusions that engage recess in the blade to lock the blade in the extend position. The liner locks may be flexibly unlocked by depressing a button carried by the grip body.
