Abstract: The present invention relates to a cervical spine and neck supporting device for stabilising the spinal symmetry of a user when seated, comprising, a head garment comprising a band of material for surrounding a user's head, and a back flap comprising a head garment-cooperating end attachable to the head garment and a free end on which the user sits; wherein in use with the band of material surrounding the user's head and the head garment-cooperating end of the back flap attached to the head garment, the back flap is of sufficient length to allow the user to sit on the free end, in order to put the back flap under tension thereby restricting movement of the user's head and neck to stabilise the user's spine.
