  • Patent number: 11801565
Abstract: A saw blade including a body, a plurality of cutting teeth, and a plurality of gullets. The plurality of cutting teeth formed on the body. Each cutting tooth includes a first end and a second end. The plurality of gullets is formed between the plurality of cutting teeth. Each gullet having an opening defined between the first end of one tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth and the second end of an adjacent tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth. Each opening has an opening width and a gullet width. A ratio between he gullet width over the opening width is greater than or equal to 1.2:1.

  • Publication number: 20230330761
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a saw blade includes providing a saw blade body having an edge, forming a plurality of tooth bodies that defines a plurality of gullets in the saw blade body, coupling a cutting member to the edge of the saw blade body, and shaping the cutting member to form a cutting tooth after the cutting member is coupled to the edge. Each one of the plurality of tooth bodies defines an undercut portion positioned between adjacent tooth bodies. The cutting tooth includes a rake face extending from a tip of the cutting tooth toward the saw blade body and a relief face extending from the tip toward a second end of the cutting tooth sloping toward the saw blade body.

  • Patent number: 11413694
Abstract: A saw blade includes a body and a plurality of cutting teeth formed on the body. Each cutting tooth includes a tip at a first end of the cutting tooth, a rake face extending from the tip toward the body, a relief face extending from the tip toward a second end of the cutting tooth and sloping toward the body, and a projection at the second end of the cutting tooth and sloping away from the body. The saw blade also includes a plurality of gullets formed on the body between the plurality of cutting teeth. Each gullet forms an undercut portion between the body and the projection of each cutting tooth.

  • Patent number: 11040407
Abstract: A saw blade includes a body and a plurality of cutting teeth formed on the body. The plurality of cutting teeth include a first cutting tooth having a tip adjacent a first end of the first cutting tooth, a rake face defining a rake face line extending from the tip toward the body at a positive rake angle, and a relief face extending from the tip toward a second end of the first cutting tooth. The saw blade also includes a plurality of gullets formed on the body between the plurality of cutting teeth. The plurality of gullets include a first gullet forming an undercut of the first cutting tooth. At least a portion of the undercut is positioned on a side of the rake face line in a direction opposite a cutting direction of the saw blade.
