Abstract: Methods and systems provide dynamic adjustments for video optimization in a communication session. In one embodiment, the system receives a video stream from a transmitting device; transmits the video stream to one or more client devices, the first video stream having associated video transmission quality parameters; receives, from the one or more client devices, initial video display quality parameters related to the video stream; determines a video stream adjustment by comparing the video transmission quality parameters with the video display quality parameters; generates a modified video stream by applying the video stream adjustment to the video stream; transmits the modified video stream to the one or more client devices; receives, updated video display quality parameters related to the modified video stream; and compares the updated video display quality parameters to the initial video display quality parameters to determine that one or more video quality metrics have increased.

Abstract: A computer determines one or more configurations specific to a first participant of a video conference for altering functionality of one or more components of the video conference. The computer applies the one or more configurations during the video conference. The computer determines one or more preferences of a second participant of the video conference associated with the one or more components. The computer determines at least one additional configuration of the video conference based on at least one of one or more prioritizations of the first participant or one or more prioritizations of the second participant.

Abstract: A system may transmit, from a first user device connected to a video conference and associated with a conference participant, an indication to a peripheral device to temporarily buffer a portion of media content of the video conference. The system may perform, within the video conference, a transition of the conference participant from the first user device to a second user device connected to the video conference including causing the peripheral device to relay the portion of the media content during the transition. In some implementations, the portion of the media content may be buffered by storing less than a predefined amount of time of the media content received by the first user device in a random access memory of the peripheral device.

Abstract: A system processes diagnostic output to determine a unique broadcasting signature of a room, and determines whether an existing optimal settings configuration of the personal endpoint device is detected for the room. If not, then the system determines a new optimal settings configuration and stores it for future video communication in the room.

Abstract: Methods and systems provide for preventing content capture within a communication session. In one embodiment, a method maintains a communication session with a number of participants, where session content is presented during the communication session to the participants, and where participants can request the session content to be captured for later access. The system receives or identifies one or more signals for capture prevention to be initiated for at least a portion of the session content. The system further receives, in real time during the communication session, a request from one of the participants for a current portion of session content to be captured. The system then determines, via processing of the one or more signals, that the current portion of session content is to be prevented from capture, and then prevents the current portion of session content from being captured.

Abstract: A note is dynamically generated with captured content from a communication session. At least a portion of the session content is recorded. A request to generate a note is received from one of the participants of the communication session. In response to receiving the request, the a note is generated that includes at least a designated portion of the recorded session content. Access to the portion of the session content identified in the note is granted to the requesting participant upon demand.

The computing device modifies the camera-generated visual data to remove the reflection. The computing device outputs, to the display of the computing device during the video conference, the modified camera-generated visual data. The computer determines, using a neural network, an identity of an extraneous item comprising a portion of the background imagery. The computer determines, using the neural network based on the identity of the extraneous item, to replace the extraneous item in the camera-generated visual data. The computer predicts, using replacement imagery prediction software, replacement imagery to replace the extraneous item. The computer generates a composite image comprising the foreground imagery of the camera-generated visual data and the background imagery with the extraneous item replaced by the replacement imagery.

Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for delta models for providing privatized speech-to-text during virtual meetings. In one embodiment, a system may include a non-transitory computer-readable medium; a communications interface; and a processor. The processor may be configured to execute processor-executable instructions to: join a virtual meeting. Each participant in the virtual meeting may exchange audio streams with other participants in the virtual meeting. The instructions may include receiving, from a video conference provider, a local model for speech recognition. The local model may be a copy of a centralized model. The instructions may include performing speech recognition using the local model on the audio streams.
