Abstract: Embodiments directed to a torque indicating driver and for indicating a value of torque applied by the torque indicating driver. In one aspect, an embodiment for a torque indicating driver including a torsion member with a circular cross section elastically deformable about an axis. The torsion member may be rotationally constrained with respect to tube at a driver proximal end and rotationally constrained with respect to a sleeve disposed in adjacent overlapping relation to the tube at a driver distal end. In this regard, the sleeve may be displaceable with respect to an indicator disposed on the tube such that, commensurate with the application of torque by the torque indicating driver, the displacement may be indicative of a value of torque applied by the torque indicating driver.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hand-actuated drain plug that comprises a tubular member having a proximal head and a distal body adapted to engage a tubular port. The head of the plug has an annular end with at least two surface areas corresponding to an open and closed position. The tubular member defines an axially aligned bore. The plug includes a cap top that comprises a proximal flange coupled to a stem. The flange has a distally oriented surface that is adapted to be placed in orientation with the two surface areas of the annular end corresponding to open and closed positions. The other end of the stem is coupled to a bushing that is sized to fit and slide within the bore of the tubular member. A biasing member positioned between the stem and the tubular member is compressed to bias the plug to a closed position.

Abstract: An outer space deployable boom system is formed of a plurality of interconnected longeron members that are linked by diagonal members and batten frames. The diagonal members are arranged in a unique K-type configuration that provides a predictable and orderly folding dynamic as the boom system transitions from a stowed state to a deployed state.

Abstract: An anchoring device for use in a rock-crevice defined by a first rock wall and an opposing second rock wall. The anchoring device comprises an axle member having a longitudinal axis. A first cam is rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the axle member and contactable with the first rock wall with the first cam having a first side wall and a second side wall. A second cam is rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the axle member and contactable with the second rock wall with the second cam having a first side wall and a second side wall. The first side wall of the first cam is aligned with the first side wall of the second cam and the second side wall of the first cam is aligned with the second side wall of the second cam. Upon a first force being applied to the first cam by the first rock wall and a second force being applied to the second cam by the second rock wall in a direction generally toward the longitudinal axis, the axle member is free from any created moment.
