Abstract: A string stretching apparatus, system and method are described. The string stretching apparatus may include lower and upper raised portions at an outer surface of a body of the stretching apparatus. A portion of the body of the string stretching apparatus may be placed in contact with a neck of a musical instrument. The lower and upper raised portions may be configured to extend outwardly to extend a distance between the neck of the musical instrument and at least one string of the musical instrument. The string stretching apparatus may be manipulable in a longitudinal direction of the neck of the musical instrument, and either or both of the lower and upper raised portions may be configured to rotate, in order to increase or decrease string tension.

Abstract: A system and method of constructing on-line surveys is provided. In particular, the system and method assist a survey user in the construction of an on-line survey in that a graphical interface is presented to the user that includes graphical objects representing question types and/or formats, and the user is enabled to select graphical objects and to place the graphical objects representing pre-established survey components in a sequence, thereby defining a sequence of steps in an on-line survey. The sequence is further displayed to the user on the graphical interface, and once finalized, translated into computer readable format and deployed on-line to survey participants.

Abstract: A novel, improved plant support devise, that is universally adaptable for holding one or more plants. This planter's pot is specifically designed for placement upon the top of any 4×4 inch object. Examples of objects it is intended for mating with may include the top of fence posts and/or mailbox posts. Said planter's pot is architecturally designed with a 4×4 inch, introverted opening in the center of the base of the pot. When met with, for instance, the top of a 4×4 inch fence post, the planter's pot introverted internal cavity would mate with the pot. It would sit, combined with the 4×4 inch object. No additional attachment devices are needed to secure such planter pot to its base.

Abstract: A boat lift supported completely from land adjacent to water in which a boat is to be operated for movement between storage and launching positions by the use of parallelogram linkage powered by pairs of hydraulic actuators arranged at opposite sides of the boat lift. A walk and handrails are formed between the hydraulic actuators for use by passengers boarding the boat in the boat launch position.
