Abstract: A tuning assembly and tunable drug system are described. The tuning assembly including a pressure ring, a rope ring with a first plurality of holes and a second plurality of holes, a rope system coupled to the first plurality of holes and a membrane of a drum head, and a plurality of fasteners engaging the second plurality of holes in the rope ring and a surface of the pressure ring. Tightening the plurality of fasteners increases the distance between the rope ring and the pressure ring causing the rope ring to pull the rope system and apply pressure to the membrane of the drum head.

Abstract: Methods and systems for adhesively bonding a first substrate to a second substrate to reduce pull-off stress during separation of the first and second substrates include applying a first adhesive to a first bonding region of a bonding area of the first substrate, applying a second adhesive, which has an adhesive strength that is lower than an adhesive strength of the first adhesive, to a second bonding region of the bonding area of the first substrate, pressing the first and second substrates against each other to form an adhesive bondline, and curing the first and second adhesives for a predetermined period of time to form a cured adhesive bondline between the first and second substrates.

Abstract: Trip classifying systems and methods include one or more servers communicatively coupled with a mobile device, one or more data stores, and a trip classifying device. The trip classifying device includes a housing, a processor, a wireless communication module, a speaker, a business selector, a personal selector, and a microphone. In response to a signal received from a mobile phone indicating that the trip has begun, the trip classifying device provides a notification to the driver to classify the trip. In response to receiving the user selection of the business selector, the system automatically initiates an audio recording for the driver to dictate a business purpose for the trip. The audio recording is transmitted to the mobile phone which initiates transcription and later displays the transcription on a user interface of the mobile phone. The trip classifying device may have no trip classifying selectors except the business and personal selectors.
