Utilizing optical microscopy and field emission scanning electron microscopy, the present invention quantifies a bitumen content and pore structure parameters in a shale reservoir following qualitative identification. It classifies shale formations into four sealing types: early-stage closed and late-stage closed, early-stage closed and late-stage open, early-stage open and late-stage closed, and early-stage open and late-stage open. This classification is of significance for accurately evaluating shale preservation conditions and exploration potential.
