  • Patent number: 8751144
Abstract: An automatic navigation method and automatic navigation system are provided. The automatic navigation method includes the following steps. A guiding path is provided. A current facing direction which a user faces is obtained by an electronic compass. A turning direction is obtained according to the current facing direction and the guiding path. The turning direction is notified by an electric shock signal. A nearest trace point of the guiding path is obtained by sensing a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag. The turning direction is updated according to the nearest trace point and the current facing direction.

  • Publication number: 20090062073
Abstract: An exercise recording system suitable for recording the exercise information of a user is provided. The exercise recording system includes an electronic tag, a reading module and a back-end data server. Identification information corresponding to the user is recorded inside the electronic tag, and the user exercises along an exercise path. The reading module is disposed on the exercise path so as to read the identification information recorded inside the electronic tag. The back-end data server receives the identification information transmitted from the reading module to retrieve essential information for calculating exercise information of the user.

  • Patent number: 7409256
Abstract: Foot measurement and footwear manufacture systems and methods. A three-dimensional foot frame of a foot and pressure data corresponding to a bottom of the foot are measured, and a first and a second group of characteristic points are respectively determined accordingly. A preset foot skeleton template model is adjusted according to the second group of characteristic points, and merged into the three-dimensional foot frame according to the first group of characteristic points and protrusion points of the adjusted foot skeleton template model. The protrusion points and/or joint points of the adjusted foot skeleton template model are connected to generate at least one line and at least one plane, intersecting the three-dimensional foot frame at contact points and contact planes, respectively. The foot frame size is determined according to the distance between the contact points and the girth of the contact planes.

  • Publication number: 20080161653
Abstract: A cardio-respiratory fitness evaluation method is disclosed. Personal data is obtained according to an input operation and a submaximal exercise test is performed according to the personal data and a selected exercise mode. Physical parameters are retrieved and analyzed to determine whether abnormal signs are detected and, if not, the physical parameters are recorded. It is then determined whether the submaximal exercise test has been completed, and, if not completed, another submaximal exercise test is performed, and if completed, an evaluation for cardio-respiratory fitness is performed to obtain evaluation results.
