  • Publication number: 20240115215
Abstract: A display device configured to receive raw values, calculate smoothed values, and display the smoothed values only if the smoothed values satisfy a consistency check. In some embodiments, the consistency check may be satisfied if none of the smoothed values (i) corresponds to a raw value that triggered a first or second alarm and (ii) would not also trigger the first or second alarm. In some embodiments, if the smoothed values do not satisfy the consistency check, the display device may re-calculate the smoothed values such that the consistency check is satisfied. The display device may display the smoothed values in place of corresponding raw values in a historical trend graph.

  • Publication number: 20200178799
Abstract: An analyte monitoring system may include an analyte sensor, a transceiver, and a display device. The transceiver may be configured to operate in two or more modes of operation. The display device may be configured to communicate with the transceiver. The two or more modes of operation may include a clinical mode in which the transceiver receives first sensor data from the analyte sensor and calculates one or more first analyte levels using at least the received first sensor data but does not convey the one or more first analyte levels to the display device. The two or more modes of operation may include an unblinded mode in which the transceiver receives second sensor data from the analyte sensor, calculates one or more second analyte levels using at least the received second sensor data, and conveys the one or more second analyte levels to the display device.

  • Publication number: 20160270740
Abstract: A computing device receives analyte data produced by an analyte monitoring sensor over a communications link from at least one first device. Health data, comprising at least part of the analyte data, may be communicated over a communications link to at least one second device in response to a request. The first device may be positioned over the analyte monitoring sensor using signal strength and location information. External analyte data may be employed to calibrate the analyte monitoring sensor.

  • Patent number: 7258591
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to apparatuses having some characteristic(s) of traditional “roly-poly” toys, which are traditional passive toys that, when struck, wobble about their typically-rounded base but stay upright due to bottom-heavy weighting. Some embodiments of the present invention can be especially relevant to such an apparatus that is mobile and/or not totally passive.
