  • Publication number: 20180260471
Abstract: A computer implemented system allows a larger number of users to input their complementary skills, interest and expertise in an online platform and forms a plurality of groups of users or members), each group being formed based on their skills, interest, complementary skills, expertise and the user inputted parameters for the skills and expertise such that the skills and expertise of the users in a formed group are complementary to each other such the group as a whole has all the necessary skills and expertise as defined by the user to complete and project or task. An interface is provided for the investors or state/government bodies to score the groups and invest on the groups based on the scores. The members can change the groups or the groups can swap or exchange the members to match and configure the skills, complementary skills, expertise and interest in the groups, and maximize the score of one or more groups. The investors and state/government bodies can participate to pay the members.

  • Publication number: 20110035383
Abstract: An efficient and stress relieving patent, and non-patent literature database search system has been provided. The system allows for the processing of dynamic and focused search strategies. The user can input a plurality of search features into the GUI of the system and can assign their priority. One of them can be classified as focused/high priority search feature over others. The system also allows for inputting plurality of keywords into the GUI to help ranking of the result. In a preferred embodiment, keywords, or portions or complete sentences or paragraphs can be listened by utilizing text to speech conversion technology. This allows users to go through a long list of patents/publications without requiring to read them. The user can listen the text to speech converted keywords or portions of references in a relaxing and way by utilizing a headset. This provides a fast and very efficient way of studying references with little or no stress.

  • Publication number: 20040183408
Abstract: An actuator including a piezoelectric film. The film has a first side, a second side, and a thickness between the first side and the second side. The actuator also includes a first electrode adjacent to the first side of the film, and a second electrode adjacent to the second side of the film. The first electrode and the second electrode are configured to establish an electric field gradient across the thickness of the film when the first electrode and the second electrode are energized. The gradient causes deflection of the film. The gradient includes a difference between a field component substantially near the first side of the film and a field component substantially near the second side of the film.
