    Abstract: A battery installation mechanism has a base, a battery, and a limiting assembly. The base has a supporting unit and a connecting mount. The supporting unit has two engaging holes. The connecting mount is connected to the base and has a connecting terminal. The battery is assembled to the base and has a cartridge for receiving battery cells, two engaging protrusions, a limiting protrusion protruding from the cartridge, and a battery terminal electrically connected to the connecting terminal. The limiting assembly has an assembling mount fastened to the base, a connecting member extending through the assembling mount, a limiting component and an operating handle respectively connected to two opposite ends of the connecting member, and an elastic unit abutting against the limiting component and the assembling mount. The limiting component is capable of blocking the limiting protrusion to limit the battery between the base and the limiting assembly.

The lock has a locking arm and is pivotally attached to the housing. The locking lever is pivotally attached to the housing and has a tongue corresponding to the lock. The latch is detachably inserted into the locking cavity of the housing and has an annular recess corresponding to the locking arm of the lock. The housing and the latch are respectively connected to the frame and the wheel of the golf cart. Accordingly, the wheel can be conveniently attached to or detached from the frame of the golf cart, and operation of the quick-release device is easy and convenient.

Two U-shaped brackets are connected to the axle and each has a pin movably extending therethrough which is insertable into either one of the two apertures of the plate corresponding thereto so as to position the connecting frame members in either the folded position or the operating position.
