  • Publication number: 20240036840
Abstract: Deferred formula computation executes software containing a set of programmed formulas, wherein the set includes a first programmed formula defined in an associated dependency graph to be dependent on a result of a second programmed formula. A method may encounter a reference to the first programmed formula during execution of the software, wherein the reference is associated with deferred formula computation request program code in the executing software to obtain a result of the first programmed formula; identify during execution of the software the second programmed formula based on traversal within the associated dependency graph of the first programmed formula; compute a result of the second programmed formula during execution of the software; compute the result of the first programmed formula during execution of the software, and return the computed result of the first programmed formula in association with the reference to the first programmed formula.

  • Publication number: 20210255838
Abstract: Embodiments of extending properties of objects in a designer tool for generating applications are disclosed therein. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a formula as an input value to a property of an instance of an object surfaced via a graphical user interface of a designer tool. The property corresponds to a function having an input parameter to the function, and the received formula includes the input parameter. The method further includes in response to receiving the formula as the input value to the property, automatically deploying programming codes in the application to incorporate the received formula in order to extend functionality of the instance of the object.

  • Publication number: 20170316060
Abstract: Delegating queries within a transformation chain that match delegable query patterns associated with external services. One or more matches between one or more delegable query patterns associated with one or more external services and one or more queries included within the transformation chain are identified. Execution of the one or more identified queries is then delegated to the one or more external services. Upon execution of the one or more identified queries, one or more results associated with the execution are then received. Once the one or more results have been received, the results are implemented within the transformation chain.
