Abstract: A comb (100) includes a spine (4) and, extending from the spine in adjacent, substantially parallel planes, a first outer row of teeth (31), a central row of teeth (33) and a second outer row of teeth (32) opposed to the first outer row of teeth. The teeth (10) of the first and second outer rows of teeth and of the central row of teeth are substantially a same length. Spacing of the teeth of the central row (33) is different from spacing of the teeth of the first and second outer rows (31, 32) with the spacing of the teeth being arranged for the removal of head lice and/or nits and/or head lice eggs and/or fleas from combed hair or fur.

Abstract: A re-usable dispensing container (10) for pills, tablets or capsules, includes a base portion (20) having a plurality of compartments (25). An adhesive-free sealing sheet (50) is arranged to cover openings of the compartments such that the sheet may be ruptured to provide access individually to the compartments. A sealing sheet retainer (30), having apertures thorough which the sheet may be ruptured, is removably closable over the sealing sheet removably to retain the sealing sheet between the sealing sheet retainer and the base. A lid (40) is provided to cover the sealing sheet retainer (30) and is lockable to the base with a tamper-evident locking pin.

Abstract: A device 10 for removing an external parasite from a host comprises a substantially rectangular plate 11 having a projection 13 from a minor or major edge thereof The projection 13 is of a width less than half a length of the edge and comprises two prongs 134, 135 defining a first inward tapering V-shaped notch 131 between the prongs. The V-shaped notch 131 has a longitudinal axis aligned with an axis of the substantially rectangular plate 11. Opposed inner engagement faces of the prongs 134, 135 are chamfered for engaging substantially opposed sides respectively of the external parasite. One or more similar additional V-shaped notches 14, 15, smaller than the first V-shaped notch 131, may be provided on an edge opposed to the edge on which the projection 13 is located.

Abstract: A hair comb has a handle (1) having an arcuate portion (2) and a finger grip portion (3). The handle is connected to a spine (4) into which are secured two parallel planes of rows of teeth (10). The teeth (10) are spaced so that a first row of teeth (11) are more widely spaced than a second row of teeth (12), the teeth having a cylindrical cross-section and rounded end tips (13). The spacing between the rows of teeth are such that as the teeth move through hair, the first row perform a first coarse combing for head lice, nits and eggs and the second row of teeth perform a more fine filtering of head lice, nits and eggs.
