  • Patent number: 9052773
Abstract: Control methods of an electronic apparatus having a touch pad are provided. Touch event with the touch pad is first detected. It is then determined whether the touch event is a single-touch event or a multi-touch event. In response to the touch event being the multi-touch event, the touch event is simulated to a first event initialized by a touch panel by a simulation device to generate a multi-touch signal to an operation system such that the operation system performs a corresponding touch simulation.

  • Patent number: 8930852
Abstract: Techniques are provided for manipulating folder and file icons on a screen of an electronic device. A folder icon representing a folder is displayed on a screen, in a first mode, at a first location on the screen. The folder may contain a plurality of individual files and the folder icon is configured to indicate the plurality of individual files. An activation event is detected comprising a movement from the first location on the screen to a second location on the screen. In response to detecting the activation event, the folder icon is displayed on the screen along with icons representing the individual files on the screen. The screen may display the icons of the individual files as fanning out from the folder icon and/or may display the icons of the individual files entirely outside of the folder icon.

  • Patent number: 8572508
Abstract: A method for displaying applications of a touch-controlled device includes the steps of: generating an electronic signal according a gesture applied on a touch panel of the touch-controlled device; generating a detection result according to the electronic signal, wherein the detection result includes a first position of the gesture corresponding to the touch panel; when the detection result indicates that the detected gesture is a multi-fingered grab gesture, starting an application container; and outputting a control signal to the touch panel according to the application container, in order to display the application container at the first position.

  • Publication number: 20110018962
Abstract: A video conferencing signal processing system is disclosed. The video conferencing signal processing system comprises a receiver and a sender. An original video signal captured from the sender is capable of being processed into an encoded video conferencing signal by monitoring an output status of a video conferencing module of the receiver and processing the original video signal according to the output status of the receiver. The present invention reduces the consumption of system resources and the necessary transmitting bandwidth for video conferencing.
