  • Patent number: 6373367
Abstract: The present invention provides a flyback transformer comprising a core, a low-voltage bobbin and a conductive device. The core comprises an upper core and a lower core. The low-voltage bobbin comprises a skirt. The skirt has a lower opening for receiving the lower core and a grounding pin is provided on a side portion of the skirt. The conductive device comprises an U-shaped body, an input end and an output end. The U-shaped body is engaged with the side portion of the skirt. The input end is provided on one end of the U-shaped body for flexibly connecting the lower core. The output end is provided on the other end of the U-shaped body for connecting the grounding pin. The core is grounded by the way of connecting the lower core and the grounding pin through the conductive device.

  • Publication number: 20020036560
Abstract: A detachable transformer includes a high-voltage coil, an anti-splash cap, a low-voltage coil and a transformer body. The coupling chamber has a top end coupled to the anti-splash cap and a bottom end for matching the transformer body. It is assured that the filler can be encapsulated between the high-voltage coil and the transformer body. After the low-voltage coil and the iron core are inserted, the transformer is then formed. Furthermore, the anti-splash cap can be either separable from the coupling chamber or an integral part of the high-voltage coil. The anti-splash cap can also be replaced by an anti-splash sleeve, which is disposed in the high-voltage coil. This enhances the insulation effect of the high-voltage coil by encapsulating the filler in the gap and between the high-voltage coil and the transformer body.

  • Patent number: 6346001
Abstract: The present invention provides a coupling structure for mounting a core of a flyback transformer. The flyback transformer comprises a low-voltage bobbin, a housing, a lower core, an upper core and the coupling structure. The low-voltage bobbin comprises a winding shaft and a skirt. The winding shaft has an upper opening for receiving the upper core. The skirt has a lower opening for receiving the lower core. The lower opening defines an internal surface of the skirt. The coupling structure comprises at least one upper coupling device formed on the housing for mounting the upper core and at least one lower coupling device formed on the internal surface of the skirt for mounting the lower core. The upper core is mounted on the housing through the winding shaft by the upper coupling device. The lower core is mounted on the low-voltage bobbin through the skirt by the lower coupling device.

  • Patent number: 6329896
Abstract: The present invention provides a low-voltage bobbin of a flyback transformer. The flyback transformer comprises the low-voltage bobbin, a lower core and an upper core. The low-voltage bobbin comprises a main body and a reinforced device. The main body comprises a skirt and a winding shaft. The skirt has a lower opening for receiving the lower core. A plurality of sockets are provided on a side portion of the skirt. The winding shaft is provided on the skirt and has an upper opening for receiving the upper core. The reinforced device is provided on the skirt for reinforcing rigidity of the main body and preventing the plurality of sockets from displacing. In addition, the reinforced device comprises three ribs integrally formed on a flange of the skirt. Each rib is vertically connected with each other to form a hole. The lower core engages with the low-voltage bobbin through the hole according to a predetermined assembly procedure.

  • Patent number: 6249201
Abstract: A fly back transformer includes a main body, a collecting element and a wire. The collecting element is fixed to the main body, while the wire is connected to the main body via the collecting element. The collecting element or the main body has a fixing portion. The wire is fixed to the collecting element or the main body by the fixing portion to prevent a separation between the wire and the collecting element.
