Abstract: A method for switching function menus is applied to a projector for the function of on screen display (OSD). The method includes the first step of providing a first function menu, a second function menu and a fuzzy menu. The first function menu has a first picture. The second function menu has a second picture. The fuzzy menu has a fuzzy picture. Specially, the first and the second pictures have an edge which is distinguished by eyes of human beings, but the fuzzy picture has an edge which is undistinguished by eyes of human beings. Subsequently, the first, the fuzzy and the second function menus are switched in sequence at a frequency which is not detected by eyes of human beings, so that the first, the fuzzy and the second pictures are shown in sequence.

Abstract: A projector with a service information displaying function and a service information displaying method for use with the projector are provided. The projector includes a data storage unit, a monitor and a controller. The service information displaying method includes steps of pre-storing a data file in the projector, showing a main menu contained in the data file in response to a call request, and selecting a first item from the main menu and showing at least one service information corresponding to the first item.
