  • Publication number: 20240039478
Abstract: A circuit with a pseudo class-AB structure is shown. The circuit has an output stage, a first capacitor, and a first impedance component. The output stage has a first PMOS (p-type Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) and a first NMOS (n-type MOSFET). The first connection node between the drain terminal of the first PMOS and the drain terminal of the first NMOS is coupled to the first output terminal of the circuit. The first capacitor is coupled between the gate terminal of the first PMOS and the gate terminal of the first NMOS. The first impedance component is coupled in parallel with the first capacitor between the gate terminal of the first PMOS and the gate terminal of the first NMOS.

  • Publication number: 20210016029
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a portable ventilator and a method for providing an oscillatory flow to a subject in need thereof. The method comprises: (a) forming a gas mixture comprising pure oxygen and air; (b) converting the gas mixture into the oscillatory flow by applying thereto a predetermined oscillatory frequency and a predetermined ventilatory duration; (c) outputting the oscillatory flow of the step (b) at a first jet pressure, in which the outputted oscillatory flow has a first flow rate; and (d) modulating the outputted oscillatory flow of the step (c) by, (i) varying the respective amounts of the pure oxygen and the air in the gas mixture; or (ii) varying the predetermined ventilatory duration of the step (b), in which if the fist jet pressure is smaller than the predetermined jet pressure, then decreases the predetermined ventilatory duration; or if the first jet pressure is greater than the predetermined jet pressure, then increases the predetermined ventilatory duration.

  • Publication number: 20210003528
Abstract: Various examples are provided for disposable medical sensors that can be used for detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen, cardiac troponin I, or other biosensing applications. In one example, a medical sensing system includes single-use disposable test strip comprising a functionalized sensing area configured to detect SARS-CoV-2 antigen and a portable sensing and readout device including pulse generation circuitry that can generate synchronized gate and drain pulses for detection and quantification of SARS-CoV-2 antigen in biological samples. In another example, a method includes providing a saliva sample to a functionalized sensing area configured to detect SARS-CoV-2 antigen, generating synchronized gate and drain pulses for a transistor, the gate pulse provided via electrodes of the functionalized sensing area, and sensing an output of the transistor that is a function of a concentration of SARS-CoV-2 antigen in the sample.
