    Abstract: An electrical connector comprises a base, a cover, a gear and a rack. The base having a plurality of passageways opened therein. The cover is slidable engaged with the base. The gear and the rack are provided for actuating the cover to slide on the base. Because rotation of the gear is controlled accurately, the actuation process can be operated easily and precisely.
