Publication number: 20260210703Abstract: The present invention discloses a high-precision right-angle detection device and method. By utilizing two right-angles surfaces of the component under measurement to reflect an incident laser and an emitted laser, the first-order Doppler effect is calculated. This is achieved by measuring the ion spectra of metastable state lithium ions using both the incident and emitted lasers. Subsequently, the angle between the incident and emitted laser is deduced based on the first-order Doppler effect. Finally, the right-angle of the component under measurement is determined. The invention employs the frequency of ion transition spectral lines as a reference, which serves as a natural and stable benchmark that does not require periodic calibration. Additionally, atomic or molecular transition spectral lines can also be utilized as references. A wide variety of ions, atoms, molecules, and their corresponding spectral lines are available, offering extensive wavelength coverage and diverse options.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 3, 2025Publication date: July 23, 2026Applicant: INNOVATION ACADEMY FOR PRECISION MEASUREMENT SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, CASInventors: Hua GUAN, Shaolong CHEN, Xurui CHANG, Yao HUANG, Kelin GAO

Patent number: 12687820Abstract: The present invention discloses a highly charged Nickel ion optical clock and its implementation method. It uses Ni12+ ions as the clock's reference system, which provides superior anti-interference capabilities and measurement precision compared to conventional low-charge-state ion optical clocks. The Ni12+ ions possess two transition spectral lines at 498 nm and 511 nm that can serve as clock transitions. Utilizing both 498 nm and 511 nm lasers enables a single ion reference system to output two clock signals, allowing for mutual verification. Frequency calibration using these two laser frequencies facilitates the timely detection of operational issues through abrupt changes in their frequency ratio. This approach avoids the problem inherent in a single optical frequency clock, where losing synchronization with the time reference can result in immediately undetectable, erroneous clock signal outputs, thereby significantly enhancing the overall stability of the optical clock.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 2025Date of Patent: July 21, 2026Assignee: INNOVATION ACADEMY FOR PRECISION MEASUREMENT SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, CASInventors: Hua Guan, Shaolong Chen, Zhiqiang Zhou, Guosheng Zhang, Yao Huang, Kelin Gao

Patent number: 11967825Abstract: A stability control method for a virtual synchronous generator (VSG) in a strong grid based on an inductance-current differential feedback is provided. A grid-connected topological structure of a VSG using the control method includes a direct-current (DC)-side voltage source, a three-phase inverter, a three-phase grid impedance and a three-phase grid. By controlling the VSG and controlling the inductance-current differential feedback, the method suppresses the oscillation of the output power from the VSG in the strong grid and implements the stable operation of an inner-loop-free VSG in the strong grid, without adding the physical inductance, increasing the cost of the filter and additionally providing a grid-side current sensor.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2021Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: HEFEI UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGYInventors: Xing Zhang, Zixuan Guo, Shaolong Chen, Yang Wang, Hailong Pan, Qian Gao, Zhen Xie
