  • Publication number: 20240430912
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sidelink message in accordance with one or more parameters associated with a priority of the sidelink message. The UE may determine a channel access priority class (CAPC) associated with the sidelink message based on the priority of the sidelink message. The UE may perform a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure in accordance with the CAPC to gain access to a wireless channel for a channel occupancy time (COT). The UE may select a set of starting positions relative to the COT based on the priority, the CAPC, or both. The UE may transmit the sidelink message within the COT based on a starting position of the set of starting positions and the LBT procedure. The UE may perform a quantity of one or more retransmissions of the sidelink message based on the CAPC.

  • Publication number: 20240422690
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which one or more UEs may communicate with one or more base stations or transmission reception points (TRPs) based on scheduling information provided to the one or more UEs that schedule multiple transport blocks (TBs) for transmission. The multiple TBs may be divided into separate TB groups and different open loop power control parameters may be applied to the separate TB groups. Different open loop power control parameters may be identified based on a parameter set indication field that is included in scheduling information that schedules the multiple TBs. The parameter set indication field may indicate different open loop power control parameter sets with normal or power boosted parameters for different groups of TBs. In cases where multiple TRPs are used for communications, transmissions to different TRPs may have different power parameters based on the TB group and TRP.

  • Publication number: 20240414670
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for propagation delay compensation (PDC). In some systems, a network entity and a group of user equipment (UEs) may support a group-based PDC procedure according to which the network entity may provide group-based PDC information to the group of UEs. In some aspects, a UE may participate in such a group-based PDC procedure in accordance with a clock accuracy constraint of the UE and depending on whether other UEs are likely to have similar PDC information. The network entity may assign an identifier (ID) to the group of UEs and scramble a message including the group-based PDC information using the ID. As such. UEs of the group of UEs may decode the message using the ID and adjust a timing of communications with the network entity using the group-based PDC information.

  • Publication number: 20240405950
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining and providing HARQ-ACK feedback corresponding to multiple PDSCHs scheduled by a DCI, which schedules a first PDSCH for transmitting repetitions of a first transport block (TB) and at least a second PDSCH for transmitting repetitions of a second TB. A UE monitors for repetitions of the first and the second PDSCH in a set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions corresponding to an uplink slot for transmitting the feedback. The set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions are based on a set of downlink slots corresponding to a reference repetition of each of the first TB and the second TB and a set of start and length indicator values (SLIVs) corresponding to the set of DL slots. The UE then transmits the feedback indicating results of the monitoring, based on a codebook generated according to the set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions.

  • Publication number: 20240372670
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a user equipment (UE) may identify, in a radio frequency spectrum band a first resource for a sidelink synchronization signal block (S-SSB) and may perform a channel access procedure for the radio frequency spectrum band for the first resource. In a first example, a second resource for a sidelink message may overlap in time with the first resource and the UE may perform the channel access procedure based on the S-SSB being prioritized over the sidelink message. In a second example, the UE may perform the channel access procedure in accordance with a first value of a parameter for the channel access procedure associated with a first synchronization priority based on the UE being associated with the first synchronization priority. The UE may transmit an S-SSB over the first resource based on the channel access procedure indicating availability.

  • Publication number: 20240349340
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms for sidelink channel occupancy time (COT) sharing request signaling in a wireless communication system. A sidelink transmitting user equipment (UE) transmits a COT sharing request to a sidelink initiator UE. The COT sharing request indicates to the initiator UE to initiate sharing of a COT acquired by the initiator UE with the transmitting UE. The initiator UE, in response to receiving the COT sharing request, determines to acquire the COT, and initiates COT sharing by transmitting, to the transmitting UE, COT sharing information including information to facilitate access to the COT by the transmitting UE. The transmitting UE, based on the COT sharing information received from the initiator UE, access the sidelink channel during the COT and transmits data over the sidelink channel.
