  • Patent number: 11348031
Abstract: Techniques for assessing the proficiency of artificial intelligence agents and users in a given knowledge domain are described. A plurality of proficiency agents can be initialized with a plurality of proficiency scores, by performing a plurality of assessments between pairs of proficiency agents selected from the plurality of proficiency agents. A first client device associated with a first user is matched with a first proficiency agent of the plurality of proficiency agents, based on a first proficiency score associated with the first user and a second proficiency score of the plurality of proficiency scores corresponding to the first proficiency agent. Assessments results of an assessment performed between the first client device and the first proficiency agent are received, and a rating system update function is used to update the first proficiency score and the second proficiency score, based on the assessment results.

  • Patent number: 10638306
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for use in reducing signal latency in a mobile network with use of localized Unified Data Management (UDM) entities are described. For example, the technique may employ a plurality of localized UDMs, where each localized UDM is associated with a unique location area. A localized UDM provides for storage of, in a localized Unified Data Repository (UDR), subscriber profile data associated with a subscriber of user equipment (UE). The subscriber profile data stored in the localized UDR may be a replica or copy of at least a subset of subscriber profile data for the subscriber stored in a UDR of a “centralized” UDM. Query access to the localized UDR may be provided for network functions (NFs) or subscriber/UEs. The replica or copy of subscriber profile data may be stored in the localized UDR for those subscribers having use in the location area.

  • Patent number: 9139896
Abstract: Disclosed is a heat-insulating protective layer for a component located within the hot gas zone of a gas turbine. Said protective layer is composed of an adhesive layer, a diffusion layer, and a ceramic layer which is applied to the high temperature-resistant basic metal of the component. The adhesive layer comprises a metal alloy [MCrAlY (M=Ni, Co)] containing Ni, Co, Cr, Al, Y, the diffusion layer is produced by calorizing the adhesive layer, and the ceramic layer is composed of ZrO2 which is partially stabilized by means of yttrium oxide. One or several chemical metal elements that have a large atomic diameter and are selected among the group comprising Re, W, Si, Hf, and/or Ta are alloyed to the material of the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer has the following chemical composition after being applied: Co 15 to 30 percent, Cr 15 to 25 percent, Al 6 to 13 percent, Y 0.2 to 0.

  • Publication number: 20140141276
Abstract: A method for applying a protective layer resistant to high-temperature degradation by corrosion and erosion to a base metal, comprises: applying a MCrAlY-based bond layer to the base metal; coating, by overaluminizing with an Al diffusion layer, the bond layer; subjecting the Al diffusion layer (14) to abrasion treatment so that an outer build-up layer is removed from the Al diffusion layer; and applying a ceramic thermal barrier coating of yttria partially stabilized zirconia to the remaining Al diffusion layer. The ceramic thermal barrier coating is applied to the remaining Al diffusion layer by air plasma spraying. The applied bond layer is subjected to a polishing treatment before being overaluminized such that a surface roughness of Ra?2 ?m is produced at the bond layer.

  • Patent number: 7824738
Abstract: This invention relates to the simultaneous treatment of the internal and external surfaces of turbine blades or vanes. In particular it provides a process for coating an external and an internal surface of a turbine blade or vane with aluminium and chromium, respectively, at substantially the same time. The process comprises the following steps (i) and (ii) in either order: (i) applying to the external surface an aluminising compound comprising aluminium, a moderator, an energiser and a diluent; and (ii) applying to the internal surface a chromising compound comprising chromium, an energiser and a diluent. These steps are followed by (iii) heating the turbine blade or vane to form an aluminium layer on the external surface and a chromium layer on the internal surface. The invention also provides a suitable aluminising compound and a chromising compound per se.
